Friday was Reagan's 5 month birthday. She is now rolling over both from her stomach to her back and from her back to her stomach. I've been trying to catch it on video, but she always seems to refuse to roll over when the camera is out. It always amazes me how quickly babies can learn to do something new. She is also getting steadier when trying to sit up and I'm sure it won't be long before she is sitting up. This month she has started crying when she is held by almost anyone besides Scott, Riley, or me. It is a stage I remember with Riley, but had hoped she would miss. I know it will pass soon, but until then the grandparents have to either look on from a distance or hold a crying baby. After much persistence, we've finally gotten her to take a bottle. So now it will be a little easier to leave her or short periods of time.
Overall, she is such a happy giggly baby. And she is often content to watch Riley play or lay and play with her own toys.
I've attached a video of Reagan rolling over (the one time I got her to cooperate with the camera). It is about a minute and a half long so it takes some patience. I'll try and get a bit of video where she rolls over more quickly, but for now this is all I have.
