The Girls....

Both the girls are growing so quickly. It is exciting, but I wish they didn't have to grow up quite so quickly. Riley sang in church on Sunday with the kids from her preschool class. She did such a great job and sang and did the arm movements with enthusiasm. She continues to be such a wonderful little girl. She is so caring and watches out for her little sister. She and Reagan love to play together. At night, they will both be rolling around on the floor playing and laughing. It is so nice to see them forming such a strong bond at such a young age. And she definitely knows her own mind, which Scott and I are always saying will server her well as she gets older. It's a balance between encouraging her to think on her own and still mind and behave us. She is continuing her ballet lessons and her class is preparing for a little performance in May. When she started ballet, she struggled to get her feet into first position. Now it is like second nature. Her teacher is wonderful and makes the class lots of fun for the kids. Riley loves preschool and her teachers. She is always excited to be there and they do such wonderful activities with the kids. Next year, she'll be there three days a week instead of just two (which I think she'll love).

Reagan is such a sweetie pie and has a soft heart. When scolded or told no her little lip quivers and she breaks out crying. She'll lie her head down on the ground as she cries. It's such a sad little sight. Though very sensitive, she spends most of her time with smiles on her face. She is talking more and more each day. She now says many words including: down, book, mama, dada, Ri Ri, Ray Ray, all done, what's that, sh (shoe), and ball. Each morning she loves to go to her shoe basket and pick out the two matching shoes she wants to wear that day, and like her sister she loves to carry a purse full of stuff around with her. It is obvious she thinks the world of Riley. More and more, I am seeing her imitate the things her sister does and being so proud of herself for being able to do big girl things. When Riley is at school, she asks, "Ri Ri?" about a million times and is quite excited when it is finally time to go pick her up from school.

They are both full of smiles and joy. Here are a few pictures from recent activities.
