Reagan is 6 Months Old!

Mother's Day and Reagan's 6 month birthday fell on the same day this year. We celebrated her six month birthday by introducing her first food. She sat in her high chair for the first time at the dinner table, and had her very first rice cereal. She loved holding the spoon herself and at first seemed to really enjoy the cereal, but by the end she was making sour faces as she ate. So we'll see how today's second attempt goes.

It's hard to believe half of a year has already gone by since she was born. I was looking back at the newborn pictures of Reagan and she has changed so much since those first few days. This month, I think she has really grown and changed quite a bit. Her babble noises now include saying what sounds like Da Da. (Much to Scott's delight). I keep repeating Ma Ma, but have had no success yet. She is rolling all over the place and is also showing a lot of interst in the things around her now. Reagan reaches for those toys that are just out of reach, and she tries to move towards them. Unfortunately, her efforts to move forward only propel her backwards and farther from the toy she is trying to reach. I know soon she will be rewarded for her efforts and figure out how to move forward. Once she begins crawling, then I will have two young kids on the move, and I'm sure that will keep me on my toes! She continues to be a mellow baby who enjoys smiling (especially at Riley & Mom), rolling around on the floor, sitting up and playing with toys, and just generally observing the world around her. Here are a few pictures from this month.
